About Corylus Red Majestic 20 Litre Pot 120/150cm Tall

Corylus ‘Red Majestic’ – Bold Colour and Architectural Drama in Every Season

Corylus ‘Red Majestic’ is a captivating deciduous shrub famed for its vivid deep red, contorted branches that light up winter gardens with bold colour and striking form. Its twisted stems add dramatic architectural interest when most plants are bare, making it an eye-catching focal point during the colder months.

In early spring, it produces bright yellow catkins that herald the changing seasons with fresh texture and colour. The foliage emerges as fresh green leaves, which turn a warm golden yellow in autumn, extending its seasonal appeal.

Growing to approximately 3–5 metres tall and wide, ‘Red Majestic’ thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. It is an excellent choice for adding year-round structure and vibrant colour to mixed borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen shrub.

Why Choose Corylus ‘Red Majestic’?

  • Vivid Red Twisted Stems – Create striking winter garden interest.

  • Early Yellow Catkins – Add texture and colour in early spring.

  • Seasonal Foliage – Glossy green leaves turn golden in autumn.

  • Compact Growth – Suitable for medium gardens and mixed borders.

Planting & Care Guide
