About Buddleja davidii Candy Little Pink - Butterfly Bush 3 Litre

Buddleja davidii Candy® Little Pink

This compact butterfly bush offers continuous soft pink blooms without the sprawling growth of traditional buddlejas, making it perfect for smaller gardens and containers.

Seasonal Highlights

From mid-summer through to the first frosts, this plant produces a continuous display of delicate pink, fragrant flower spikes that create a magnet for butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinators.

Key Features

  • Compact growth habit ideal for small spaces
  • Sweetly fragrant soft pink flowers
  • Exceptional pollinator attractor
  • Low maintenance and drought tolerant
  • Long flowering season from summer to autumn

Perfect For

Ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens, wildlife gardens and patio containers. Plant near seating areas to enjoy the sweet fragrance and observe visiting butterflies. Excellent in sunny spots where space is limited.

Growing Tips

Plant in full sun and well-drained soil for best flowering. Deadhead regularly to prolong blooming. Cut back in early spring to maintain compact shape and encourage vigorous new growth. Water during establishment but very drought tolerant once settled.

Looks Great With

Combines beautifully with lavenders, salvias, ornamental grasses and white flowering perennials. The soft pink tones complement purple and silver foliage plants and blend harmoniously in pastel planting schemes.

A superb choice for gardeners seeking maximum impact from a compact, easy-care shrub that brings life and colour to the garden throughout the warmer months.
