About Helianthus Annus Sunsation 2 Litre

Helianthus annuus ‘Sunsation’ – Compact Sunflower with Bright Golden Blooms

Helianthus annuus ‘Sunsation’ is a cheerful and compact sunflower, producing large golden-yellow flowers with contrasting dark centres over a long summer flowering period. Bred for a naturally bushy habit, it offers all the impact of traditional sunflowers in a more manageable size, making it perfect for gardens, patios, and containers.

The vibrant blooms are held above sturdy green foliage and continue to appear throughout the season, creating a colourful display that attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects. Its compact growth means it rarely requires staking, making it easy to grow and maintain.

Ideal for patio pots, mixed borders, and seasonal bedding displays, ‘Sunsation’ provides reliable colour and a sunny focal point wherever it is planted. The flowers are also excellent for cutting, bringing bright summer colour indoors.

Thriving in full sun, it prefers fertile, well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering during warm weather. Deadheading spent blooms encourages continued flowering and keeps plants looking their best.

Bright, colourful, and full of summer charm, Helianthus ‘Sunsation’ is an excellent choice for adding instant sunshine to the garden.
