About Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald 'n' Gold' 3 Litre Pot

Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald 'n' Gold'

A cheerful evergreen shrub that brightens borders and containers throughout the year with its vivid gold-margined foliage.

Seasonal Highlights

The glossy green leaves edged in golden-yellow provide year-round colour, intensifying in winter when cold weather adds attractive pink and bronze tones to the leaf margins.

Key Features

  • Compact, low-growing evergreen ideal for small gardens
  • Vibrant gold and green variegated foliage
  • Leaves develop pink winter tints in cold weather
  • Fully hardy and very adaptable
  • Tolerates sun, shade and a range of soil conditions

Perfect For

Excellent as ground cover, edging for borders, low informal hedging, or in mixed containers where its bright foliage adds year-round interest.

Growing Tips

Plant in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. More golden colouration develops in sunnier positions. Trim lightly in spring to maintain shape. Water regularly until established. Tolerates coastal exposure and urban pollution.
