About Viburnum Opulus Multi Stem 175/200cm Root Ball Delivery From November Onwards

Viburnum opulus, commonly known as Guelder Rose It's admired for its attractive clusters of white flowers, vibrant red berries, and brilliant autumn foliage. This versatile plant is often used in hedging, wildlife gardens, and as an ornamental shrub in various landscapes.

  • Leaves: Palmate leaves, with 3-5 lobes resembling maple leaves. Bright green in spring and summer, turning deep red or purple in autumn, offering vibrant seasonal interest.
  • Flowers: Produces flat-topped clusters (corymbs) of white flowers in late spring to early summer (May to June). The outer flowers are larger and more showy, while the inner flowers are smaller and fertile. These flowers are highly attractive to pollinators like bees and butterflies.
  • Fruits: Following the flowers, the plant produces clusters of small, round red berries (drupes) in late summer and autumn. The berries are a valuable food source for birds, including thrushes and blackbirds, though they are toxic to humans if consumed in large quantities.
  • Bark: The bark is smooth and grey-brown, with young stems often being more reddish in color.
