What are tree pads and ties?

The ideal way to fix your tree or anything that needs to be secured to a post or crossbar.  

At Grassland Nursery, we know that proper tree support is crucial, particularly for those exposed to high winds or requiring additional stability due to their size. Staking and tying are essential to keep the root system firmly in place as it spreads and establishes a strong anchor in the soil. Without support, a newly planted tree will move with the wind, leading to a dry and loose root ball, preventing the roots from spreading and ultimately causing the tree to weaken and fall.

Our Tree Pads and Ties are specifically designed to provide a protective barrier between the tree and the stake, preventing chafing and ensuring the best results for your trees. They are heavy duty and robust, making them long-lasting and reusable.

How to Install:

Fit the belt through the slits and across the back of the pad making sure that the buckle end is reasonably close to the pad so the belt can be tied tight around the tree once fitted to the post/bar.  

Fix it with a couple of screws making sure they countersink into the pad so they don't scratch at the bark.
