About Prunus Lusitanica Brenelia Pleached Wall Frame 100 x 50cm
Prunus lusitanica ‘Brenelia’ Pleached Wall Frame (100 × 50 cm)
Elegant and refined, Prunus lusitanica ‘Brenelia’ (Portuguese Laurel) is an evergreen shrub trained here as a pleached wall frame (100 × 50 cm), perfect for creating instant privacy, green architecture, or garden zoning. Its narrow, glossy dark green leaves form a dense and tidy screen, excellent for formal landscapes and modern designs.
In late spring to early summer, upright clusters of fragrant white flowers appear, attracting pollinators, followed by small red fruits that ripen to black, loved by birds. More compact and neater than common laurel, ‘Brenelia’ is well-suited to pleaching and responds beautifully to pruning. Hardy and resilient, it tolerates exposed sites and a wide range of soils.
