Robust and handsome, Prunus laurocerasus ‘Novita’ is a tough, evergreen cherry laurel, here trained as a standard tree with a clear stem and a rounded head of glossy, leathery leaves. More resilient than the common cherry laurel, ‘Novita’ is valued for its vigour, cold-hardiness, and resistance to leaf spot.

In spring, upright clusters of fragrant white flowers appear, followed by small red to black berries, loved by birds. Its evergreen canopy provides year-round privacy, structure, and colour, making it perfect for patios, entrances, or formal planting schemes. Hardy and low-maintenance, it responds well to clipping and shaping.
