Pittosporum are large evergreen shrubs which are fast-growing when young. They are grown for their glossy green foliage, bearing oblong-ovate, wavy-edged leaves. In late spring and early summer, Pittosporums are ideally planted in fertile, well drained soil in a border or as a low hedge. If being used as a hedging plant, they should be trimmed into shape in spring or summer. 

Pittosporum Silver Queen is an evergreen, rounded, compact shrub or small tree with oval, grey-green leaves with white margins.  Bears small honey scented flowers in late spring. Requires full sun and well drained soil and a protected site. H.1-4m
