Euonymus are often grown for their spherical berries which split open to reveal seeds in autumn and winter. Euonymus grow in any well-drained soil and prefer full or partial sunlight and shelter from cold winds. They can be lightly trimmed after flowering and any misplaced branches can be removed to maintain symmetry.
