Coreopsis 'Presto' – Compact Golden Blooms for Cheerful, Long-Lasting Colour
Coreopsis 'Presto' is a dwarf, compact perennial that bursts into life with masses of bright golden-yellow flowers, lighting up borders, beds, and containers from early summer through autumn. Its neat, mounded form and prolific blooming habit make it a favourite for gardeners seeking vibrant, low-maintenance colour that lasts for months. With its sun-loving nature and high impact in a small footprint, ‘Presto’ is ideal for gardens of all sizes.
Seasonal Beauty & Growth
Spring:
Fresh, deep green foliage forms a compact, dome-like mound, setting the stage for the abundant floral show to come.
Summer:
From early to late summer, ‘Presto’ produces daisy-like flowers in a brilliant golden yellow, each with a tidy, rounded form and a contrasting golden centre. The blooms are held just above the foliage, creating a cheerful, uniform display.
Autumn:
Flowering continues well into early autumn with regular deadheading. The vibrant blooms provide late-season nectar for pollinators as the rest of the garden begins to fade.
Winter:
As a herbaceous perennial, the plant dies back in winter but remains neat. Mulching in colder climates can protect the roots until spring regrowth.
