About Cordyline Pink Passion 2 Litre Pot
Cordyline australis ‘Pink Passion’
Common name: Cabbage Palm
Cordyline ‘Pink Passion’ is a bold and colourful evergreen featuring dramatic, sword-like leaves in deep purple edged with vibrant pink. This striking architectural plant brings year-round colour and a tropical flair to gardens, patios, and containers.
Compact and slow-growing, it forms a neat rosette and may eventually develop a woody stem in mild climates. It’s ideal for modern borders, statement planters, or coastal gardens. Grow in full sun and well-drained soil for best colour. Hardy in mild regions, but young plants may need winter protection from harsh frost and cold drying winds.
Ultimate height and spread:
1.5–2.5m × 1–1.5m over 10–20 years
Position: Full sun, sheltered
Soil: Fertile, free-draining
Uses: Architectural, containers, coastal, modern gardens
Hardiness: Hardy in sheltered locations; protect in colder regions
