About Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Minima Glauca - Dwarf Lawson Cypress Minima Glauca 3 Litre Pot

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Minima Glauca - Dwarf Lawson Cypress Minima Glauca

A delightful dwarf conifer prized for its dense, soft blue-grey foliage and compact rounded habit. This miniature evergreen maintains its neat shape naturally and provides year-round colour and structure.

Seasonal Highlights

The attractive blue-grey evergreen foliage provides consistent colour and texture throughout the year. In spring, fresh new growth adds a brighter blue tone to the foliage.

Key Features

  • Dense blue-grey evergreen foliage
  • Naturally compact rounded habit
  • Very slow growing and easy to manage
  • Maintains shape without pruning
  • Perfect scale for small gardens and containers

Perfect For

Ideal for rockeries, alpine gardens, containers, and small garden beds. Works beautifully in miniature landscapes, Japanese-style gardens, and as a specimen plant where space is limited.

Growing Tips

Plant in full sun or partial shade in moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Requires minimal maintenance and holds its shape naturally. Water regularly during dry spells, especially when container-grown.

Looks Great With

Pairs well with other dwarf conifers, heathers, alpines, and small ornamental grasses. The blue-grey foliage complements burgundy heucheras and contrasts beautifully with golden sedums.

A charming miniature conifer that brings structure and year-round interest to small-scale plantings.
