Catalpa bignonioides ‘Nana’ – Compact Summer-Flowering Tree
Description
Catalpa bignonioides ‘Nana’ is a dwarf form of the Indian Bean Tree, prized for its compact habit, large heart-shaped leaves, and spectacular summer flowers. In summer, clusters of fragrant white flowers with purple and yellow throats attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Its small, rounded crown makes it suitable for small gardens, terraces, or as a specimen tree in mixed borders. The foliage provides summer shade, and its slow growth ensures it remains manageable and ornamental.
