Azalea Knaphill ‘Daviesii’

Graceful and richly scented, Azalea Knaphill ‘Daviesii’ is a deciduous azalea admired for its clusters of creamy-white flowers flushed with soft yellow. Blooming in late spring to early summer, the fragrant blossoms provide a luminous contrast against fresh green foliage.

As the seasons turn, the leaves take on fiery shades of orange and red in autumn, extending its garden appeal well beyond flowering. Compact yet eye-catching, it is perfect for woodland gardens, mixed shrub borders, or as a specimen in lightly shaded spots.

Growing conditions:

  • Position: Partial shade (tolerates morning sun)

  • Soil: Moist, humus-rich, well-drained, acidic soil

  • Aspect: Hardy across the UK; best in sheltered spots
