An eye-catching Australian native with distinctive tubular flowers in fiery shades of red and yellow that resemble kangaroo paws.

From late spring through autumn, bold red and yellow tubular flowers emerge on tall stems above the foliage. The evergreen strap-like leaves provide year-round structure and interest in milder climates.

Growing Tips

Plant in full sun with very well-drained soil. Excellent drainage is essential to prevent root rot. Water regularly during growth but reduce in winter. In colder areas, grow in containers and move under cover during winter months. Remove spent flower stems to encourage repeat flowering.
