About Anemone 'Fantasy Elsa' - Japanese Anemone 3 Litre Pot

Anemone 'Fantasy Elsa' - Japanese Anemone

An elegant herbaceous perennial offering a profusion of pristine white semi-double flowers on tall stems during the late summer and autumn months.

Seasonal Highlights

From August through October, graceful white semi-double blooms float above the foliage on wiry stems. The attractive dark green divided leaves create excellent ground cover from spring through to the first frosts.

Key Features

  • Pure white semi-double flowers
  • Extended flowering period
  • Attractive dark green foliage
  • Spreads to form colonies
  • Excellent for cutting

Perfect For

Ideal for shady and woodland borders where its white flowers illuminate darker corners. Perfect for adding late-season interest to mixed plantings. Works beautifully in cottage gardens and naturalistic schemes.

Growing Tips

Plant in partial shade with moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Mulch annually in spring to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Once established, plants tolerate some drought. Allow a season to settle before expecting abundant flowering. Divide in spring if spread needs controlling.

Looks Great With

Pairs beautifully with Geranium, Pulmonaria, and Epimedium in shady spots. Combines well with Heuchera, autumn-flowering Aster, and ornamental grasses for textural contrast.

A refined and dependable choice that brightens the garden as summer transitions to autumn.
