Trollius or Globeflower
Are a strong growing mound forming plant, with a mass of buttercup like foliage. As the spring progresses they throw up tall stalks of large globe shaped flowers in yellows and oranges.
Where to Site Your Trollius
They are useful for brightening up the damp border as they dislike being dried out. If they are in the right spot they can really cheer areas of the garden that would otherwise be inhospitable to most other plants.
How to Grow and Look after Your Trollius
In moist soil in full sun to partial shade. Deadhead spent blooms regularly for a longer display of flowers
