Pulmonaria

Clump forming perennials with lance shaped leaves often spotted with colour. They are one of the first perennials to flower in early spring with pretty flowers on short stalks.

Where to Site Your Pulmonaria

It's the answer for that shaded area where much else refuses to grow well. Short ground cover habit will eventually cover over poor shaded areas, they compliment epimediums and pachysandra. 

How to Grow and Look after Your Pulmonaria

They grow in all soils but are more suited to deep shade or at least semi-shade.
