Blechnum or Hard Fern

Are mostly hardy mat forming, evergreen Ferns. These fertile plants will grow tall and the sterile plants will spread with age and form a horizontal rosette around the taller fertile Blechnum. Blechnum have a dark green foliage in summer, autumn and winter that will turn to a beautiful red with the mixture of dark green in spring.
