Washingtonia are native palm tree to Mexico and California and create an exotic feel to any garden. Can be grown in the ground but also thrives in containers. 

Washingtonia plants like a lot of full sun and will grow in all soils. Very easy to grow. No pruning is required. They do not like to be cold if temperatures do go down past 5 degrees then ensure you have wrapped the palm properly or bring inside they will be more than happy kept on pots.
