About Vinca Minor Illumination 3 Litre Pot

Vinca minor ‘Illumination’ – Colourful Evergreen Groundcover with Golden Foliage

Vinca minor ‘Illumination’ is a vibrant, evergreen groundcover that combines year-round foliage interest with cheerful flowers. Its golden-yellow leaves are beautifully edged with deep green, creating a luminous effect that brightens even the darkest corners of the garden. In spring and early summer, violet-blue flowers appear, adding a delightful contrast to the glowing foliage.

Compact and low-growing (10–15 cm tall), it spreads steadily to form dense mats, making it a superb weed-suppressing groundcover. Its trailing stems also lend themselves to containers, hanging baskets, and raised beds, where the golden leaves can spill attractively over the edge. Fully hardy (H7) and tolerant of a wide range of conditions, it thrives in sun or shade and adapts well to most soils.
