Where Should I Site My Berberis thunbergii 'Orange Rocket'?

Plant Berberis thunbergii 'Orange Rocket' in a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. It thrives in various soil types, provided they are not prone to waterlogging. About Berberis thunb. Orange Rocket 3 Litre Pot

Berberis or Barberries are deciduous, mound-forming shrubs. They have bright attractive foliage and bear small red to yellow berries in Autumn. Berberis have plenty of thorns so are commonly used as a security hedge.

Barberry shrubs range in size from dwarf species suitable for rock gardens to larger specimens which are ideal for a shrub border. They are very easy to grow and maintain and respond very well to being trimmed. Berberis should be trimmed after flowering to maintain a neat shape.

They are fully hardy shrubs which grow well in most well-drained soils.
