Heuchera ‘Wild Rose’ – Rose-Toned Foliage with Bright Pink Summer Flowers
Heuchera ‘Wild Rose’ is a beautifully expressive perennial, prized for its rich rose-pink foliage overlaid with fine silver veining. The rounded, gently ruffled leaves form a compact, tidy mound that brings warmth, colour, and texture to borders, containers, and shaded planting schemes throughout the year.
In early to mid-summer, slender stems rise above the foliage carrying sprays of bright pink flowers. These vivid blooms add height and movement, echoing the tones of the leaves while attracting bees and other pollinators. The contrast between the glowing foliage and cheerful flowers makes this variety particularly eye-catching in mixed plantings.
Evergreen to semi-evergreen in most UK gardens, ‘Wild Rose’ offers reliable structure and colour even through winter. Hardy, adaptable, and easy to grow, it thrives in sun or partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Its warm colouring makes it especially effective when paired with silver, lime, or dark-leaved plants.
Lively, dependable, and full of charm, Heuchera ‘Wild Rose’ is an excellent choice for gardeners looking to add long-lasting colour and personality to their planting schemes.
