Berberis 'Admiration' is a compact, colourful deciduous shrub prized for its vibrant red foliage, beautifully edged with golden-yellow margins. Position: Prefers full sun or partial shade. The brightest foliage colours develop in full sun, although it will happily grow in light shade.
Soil: Thrives in most well-drained garden soils, including clay, chalk, loam and sandy soils. Avoid areas that remain permanently waterlogged.
Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish the roots. Once established, Berberis 'Admiration' is drought tolerant and generally only requires watering during prolonged dry spells.
