Viburnum Carlcephalum 4.5 Litre Pot

Viburnum are evergreen or deciduous shrubs with dense, green foliage and lovely star-shaped flowers which bloom from late Winter until the Spring. The flowers of many Viburnum are highly fragranced so are fabulous when planted by a pathway or entrance where they can be fully appreciated.

Viburnum can be used as an informal hedge and are tolerant of partial shade. They are best suited to moist, well-drained and moderately fertile soil which can be achieved by adding good quality compost.

They are very easy to care for and only need minimal pruning to remove any unwanted growth. This should be done in mid-summer after flowering.

Viburnum Carlcephalum �Rounded bushy deciduous shrub with heart shaped, toothed dark green leaves that turn red in autumn. Tubular trumpet shaped perfumed white flowers are in domed terminal corymbs opening from pink buds 6 inches across. Grows to 10 feet and best in any reasonable soil in sun or partial shade.
