Sempervivum Mix β Hardy Houseleeks for Rockeries and Containers
Sempervivum Mix is a decorative collection of hardy succulent plants, valued for their compact rosette forms and wide variety of colours and textures. Commonly known as Houseleeks, these resilient plants produce fleshy leaf rosettes in shades of green, red, purple, silver, and bronze, often changing colour with the seasons.
Their low-growing, spreading habit makes them ideal for rockeries, alpine gardens, gravel planting, and shallow containers, where they create attractive carpets of texture and colour. Offsets, known as βchicks,β form around the parent rosettes over time, gradually creating dense clusters.
Perfect for dry, sunny locations, sempervivums are extremely drought tolerant and thrive in poor, free-draining soils where many other plants struggle. Their compact architectural form also makes them highly effective in modern container displays and succulent arrangements.
Easy to grow and exceptionally low maintenance, they require very little watering once established and perform best when left relatively undisturbed.
Tough, colourful, and highly versatile, Sempervivum Mix is an excellent choice for adding year-round texture and interest to sunny gardens and containers.
