Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ – Golden Coneflower with Long-Lasting Summer Colour
Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ is one of the most reliable and widely loved perennials for late-season colour, valued for its bold golden-yellow flowers and exceptional garden performance. From midsummer well into autumn, masses of daisy-like blooms with dark central cones rise above strong, upright stems, creating a vibrant and cheerful display.
The flowers are highly attractive to bees and butterflies, making ‘Goldsturm’ a standout choice for wildlife-friendly and naturalistic planting schemes. Its sturdy habit ensures it holds its shape without staking, even when planted en masse in borders or prairie-style designs.
As flowering continues late into the season, ‘Goldsturm’ helps bridge the gap between summer and autumn, pairing beautifully with ornamental grasses and other late-flowering perennials. Once established, it is tough, dependable, and returns year after year with minimal maintenance.
Thriving in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, this variety is fully hardy across the UK and copes well with a wide range of garden conditions. Bold, long-flowering, and endlessly versatile, Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ is an essential perennial for adding colour, structure, and pollinator appeal.
