Prunus lusitanica ‘Brenelia’ Pleached Frame – Elegant Evergreen Screening (160cm x 110cm)
Prunus lusitanica ‘Brenelia’, or Portuguese laurel, in a pleached frame is an elegant solution for adding instant, structured evergreen screening to gardens, patios, and contemporary landscapes. With its neatly trained framework of horizontal branches and dense, glossy foliage, this pleached form delivers height, privacy, and architectural style without taking up valuable ground space.
The refined variety ‘Brenelia’ is prized for its rich, dark-green leaves, red young stems, and compact, upright habit. Its evergreen canopy offers year-round coverage, while delicate sprays of fragrant white flowers appear in early summer, adding seasonal charm. Measuring 160cm high x 110cm wide, this pleached panel is ideal for creating living screens above fences and walls, defining garden rooms, or introducing structured greenery in urban spaces.
Hardy, low-maintenance, and easy to grow, Prunus lusitanica ‘Brenelia’ thrives in a range of soils and conditions, including shaded or exposed sites. It’s an excellent alternative to pleached laurel or photinia where a more refined, evergreen finish is desired.
