With its bold red new growth, glossy evergreen foliage, and structured form, this pleached Photinia brings year-round color and clean lines to modern and classic landscapes alike.
Seasonal Beauty & Growth
Spring:
The highlight of the year – vibrant red new shoots emerge, creating a dramatic flush of color that contrasts with the older dark green leaves. Small white flowers may appear in spring if left untrimmed.
Summer:
The bright red growth matures to glossy dark green, creating a dense, lush canopy that provides shade, privacy, and visual impact.
Autumn:
A second, lighter flush of red growth may occur in early autumn, extending the plant’s seasonal interest. The evergreen foliage remains thick and vibrant.
Winter:
Foliage stays glossy and green, offering valuable structure and privacy in the colder months. The pleached framework remains tidy and formal year-round.
