You need a summer like we just had to get some fruits, but it's not the reason to have one, it's that Mediterranean look and feel they bring when planted as a specimen. They like a nice dry sunny location with shelter from cold winds. Ideal for urban gardens / sheltered courtyards or anywhere you want an exotic feature specimen. Heavy Half Standard has a thick trunk of 20/25cm girth with a big bushy head above.
