Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’ – Elegant Autumn Movement
Description
Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’ is a striking ornamental grass, valued for its upright, arching habit and seasonal colour. From late summer, it produces large, silver-white plumes that sway gracefully in the breeze, providing texture, movement, and year-round interest in the garden.
In autumn, the foliage transforms from green to golden bronze, creating a warm backdrop in borders and naturalistic plantings. Its tall, narrow form makes it an excellent choice for screens, architectural plantings, or as a statement specimen in mixed borders.
Size & Growth
Reaches approximately 1.5–2 m tall and 1–1.2 m wide, with flower plumes adding extra height.
