Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Deep Purple Dance’ is a striking deciduous shrub producing large, rounded mophead blooms in a rich, velvety purple. The flower colour is especially intense in acidic soils, where deep violet shades dominate. Blooms appear from mid to late summer and are held on strong stems above lush, dark green foliage.

This compact variety is perfect for borders, containers, or as a vibrant feature in partly shaded spots. It also makes an excellent cut flower. Like many mophead hydrangeas, it flowers on old wood, so prune immediately after flowering to maintain shape without sacrificing next year’s blooms.

Thrives in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Benefits from mulching and regular watering during dry spells.

How long does delivery take?

Where will you leave my plants?

We will leave your order at the front of your property, Parcelforce may
leave your items in a safe place if you let us know, Pallet couriers
will require a flat hard surface to deliver to, no gravel or soil, a
driveway or parking spot would be best. Most importantly Deliveries by
pallet courier will require access for a large truck (bin lorry sized)
to get near the delivery point. Deliveries sent on our own transport may come in a small van or larger truck.
