Euonymus japonicus ‘Marieke’ – Bold Evergreen Colour All Year Round
Euonymus japonicus ‘Marieke’ is a striking evergreen shrub admired for its glossy, variegated foliage. Its leathery leaves are deep green at the centre with broad, golden-yellow margins that bring brightness and cheer to the garden throughout the year. The foliage is especially vivid in full sun, providing a glowing contrast against darker planting schemes.
This reliable, slow-growing shrub has a naturally upright, bushy form, making it equally effective as a specimen plant, a colourful hedge, or a structural feature in mixed borders. Hardy and low-maintenance, it is also well-suited to containers, where its vibrant foliage can be enjoyed up close.
