Elegant evergreen with feathery foliage and masses of tiny white flowers
Erica arborea, commonly known as Tree Heather, is a fast-growing evergreen shrub or small tree that brings fine, feathery texture and soft seasonal colour to the garden. In spring, it's smothered in tiny white, honey-scented flowers that attract bees and other pollinators.
Native to Mediterranean climates, it thrives in acidic, free-draining soils and suits woodland edges, heather gardens, or coastal sites. Its upright, bushy habit and delicate foliage also make it a good choice for screening or informal hedging.
