Camellia japonica Mix – Elegant Spring-Flowering Evergreen in Mixed Colours
Camellia japonica Mix offers a beautiful selection of large, rose-like blooms in a range of white, blush pink, deep pink, and rich red tones. Flowering from late winter into spring, these elegant blooms bring welcome colour and refinement to the garden when little else is in flower.
Set against glossy, dark green evergreen foliage, each flower stands out with a polished, almost porcelain-like appearance. The contrast between the rich leaves and the vibrant blooms creates a timeless and sophisticated display, ideal for adding structure and seasonal interest.
Camellias are particularly suited to sheltered borders, woodland-style planting, and large containers where their flowers can be appreciated up close. Their upright, bushy habit makes them excellent as specimen shrubs or as part of a layered evergreen scheme.
Best grown in partial shade and acidic, well-drained soil, Camellia japonica prefers a protected position away from strong morning sun and cold winds, which can damage early blooms. Once established, they are long-lived, dependable shrubs that reward minimal maintenance with exceptional spring displays.
Elegant, evergreen, and wonderfully showy, Camellia japonica Mix brings classic beauty and colour to UK gardens at a time of year when it is most appreciated.
