Description
Acer × freemanii ‘Jeffers Red’ is a striking hybrid maple, combining the best traits of Red Maple (Acer rubrum) and Silver Maple (Acer saccharinum). Its deeply lobed green summer foliage transforms into a spectacular display of glowing scarlet to crimson in autumn, making it one of the finest maples for fall colour.
With its strong, upright growth and relatively fast rate, ‘Jeffers Red’ is well-suited for larger gardens, avenues, and open landscapes. Its tolerance of urban conditions and adaptability to a wide range of soils add to its appeal.
