  • Low Maintenance & Hardy – Thrives with minimal care, adding texture to gardens with little effort.

Height of Plant Pinus ammerland grows slowly, reaching a height of approximately 60 cm in 10 years, making it a superb option for small gardens, container gardens, and as ground cover.

  • Rock gardens and alpine plantings

How to Grow and Care for Your Pinus ammerland

    • Mulching – A thin layer of mulch around the base will help conserve moisture and control weeds.
    • Pest & Disease Resistance – Highly resistant to pests and diseases, making it an easy-care, hassle-free plant.

Cold Hardy – Resilient in winter, maintaining its soft, green foliage throughout the colder months.

Perfect Plant Combinations Pinus ammerland pairs wonderfully with other dwarf conifers, low-growing shrubs, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials. It looks especially charming alongside heathers, sedums, or creeping thyme, creating a low-maintenance, beautifully textured garden. Its rounded form contrasts beautifully with upright plants and complements other soft-foliage plants.

With its charming appearance, slow growth, and evergreen beauty, Pinus ammerland is the perfect choice for small gardens, containers, and rockeries. Whether as a focal point or as part of a mixed planting, this delightful dwarf pine brings lasting structure, softness, and elegance to any landscape.
