Summer: Slender leaves retain a cool steel-blue colour; airy, purple-tinged flower panicles appear above the foliage.
Autumn: Foliage turns golden with bronze accents, creating warm seasonal contrast.
Winter: Seed heads and upright stems provide structure and wildlife interest in frosty gardens.

Structure & Growth

Height & Spread: Typically reaches 100–150cm tall and 50–100cm wide.
Foliage: Narrow, upright leaves maintain a clean, columnar form.
Habit: Clump-forming, non-invasive, with strong vertical lines ideal for repetition planting.

Perfect For

Prairie & Gravel Gardens – Ideal for naturalistic or dry planting schemes
Architectural Borders – Adds height and form to perennial displays
Containers – Suitable for pots when placed in sunny positions
