Lavandula Angustifolia ‘Hidcote’ – Iconic English Lavender for Fragrance and Form
Lavandula angustifolia ‘Hidcote’ is a much-loved, compact English lavender known for its intense fragrance, silvery foliage, and deep violet-blue flowers. A staple in cottage gardens, Mediterranean schemes, and pollinator-friendly planting, it brings colour, scent, and structure to sunny borders, gravel gardens, and containers.
Its neat, bushy habit and long-lasting blooms make ‘Hidcote’ ideal for edging paths or planting en masse for a dramatic summer display. The richly aromatic foliage is evergreen in milder regions and looks attractive even when not in bloom. Drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and adored by bees, this RHS Award-winning variety is both beautiful and beneficial.
