Ilex meserveae 'Heckenpracht', commonly known as Blue Holly, is a striking and exceptionally hardy evergreen shrub valued for its lustrous, deep blue-green foliage, dense bushy habit, and outstanding versatility in the garden. The leaves are richly glossy with a distinctive cool blue-green sheen — a characteristic trait of the Meserve hollies — and are carried on stems that are often flushed with attractive purple tones, adding further winter interest when the garden is otherwise bare. Growing Conditions
Position: Ilex meserveae 'Heckenpracht' thrives in full sun to partial shade. A position that receives good light for part of the day will encourage the richest foliage colour and the best berry production, though the plant is remarkably tolerant of shadier aspects and will remain attractive even in more challenging spots. It is notably hardy and handles exposed, cold, and windy positions with ease — considerably more so than many other hollies — making it an excellent choice for gardens in colder regions or on elevated sites.
Soil: This holly grows well in most fertile, moist but well-drained soils. It performs best in slightly acidic to neutral ground but will tolerate a broader range of soil pH than many hollies. Good drainage is important, as prolonged waterlogging is best avoided, particularly during establishment. Care

pallet courier will require access for a large truck (bin lorry sized)
