Common name: Panicled Hydrangea
Hydrangea ‘Graffiti’ is a vigorous, deciduous shrub valued for its large, conical flower panicles that change colour dramatically throughout summer. Starting as creamy white, the blooms develop bold pink, red, and green streaks, creating a unique “graffiti” effect that makes it a standout in borders and containers.
It features strong stems that hold up heavy flower heads well, and its lush green foliage provides a neat backdrop. Best grown in full sun to partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil. ‘Graffiti’ adds long-lasting interest from midsummer to autumn and is excellent for cutting.
Ultimate height and spread:
2–3m × 2–3m
Position: Full sun or partial shade
Soil: Moist but well-drained
Features: Colour-changing flowers, large panicles, strong stems, pollinator-friendly, great for cutting
