They look very pretty in a mixed shrubbery garden, rock garden or as a low maintenance shrub or an impressive large standalone conifer. So many uses from this wonderful conifer family.
Cupressus like full sun and grow in moist very well drained soil.
Preferably out of a windy site, also on larger specimens it is worth staking them until they are established.
They do require pruning just keep them looking neat and tidy.
