🧰 Tools & Materials Needed:

8 x Wooden Sleepers (1.2m long, approx. 0.2m high each)

4 x Internal L-shaped steel corner brackets (heavy-duty galvanised or powder-coated)
-
32 x Timber screws (minimum 6mm x 50mm)
-
Drill / driver with screwdriver bit and wood drill bit (for pilot holes)

Spirit level

Tape measure

Optional: landscaping fabric and staple gun

Optional: sand or gravel to level the ground
📦 Step-by-Step Assembly:
1. Prepare the Ground
-
Choose a level area with good drainage and full sun.

Clear any grass, weeds, or debris.
-
Add a thin layer of gravel or sand if needed to level and stabilise the sleepers.
2. Lay Out the First Layer of Sleepers
-
Form a square using 4 sleepers (1.2m each) in a box layout:
-
Two form the sides, and the other two butt into them to complete the square.
-
Ensure the corners are tightly aligned.
✅ Use a tape measure to check both diagonals for squareness.
✅ Use a spirit level to check sleepers are level.
3. Position the Second Layer

Stack another 4 sleepers directly on top, matching the layer below for a clean vertical line.

Make sure edges align and corners are tight.
4. Fix Internal Corner Brackets

Place a metal bracket in the middle, inside each corner, ensure they are placed tight into the corner.

Drill pilot holes through bracket holes into both adjoining sleepers
-
Use 8 screws per bracket (4 into each sleeper).

Repeat for all 4 corners.

🛠️ Notes & Tips:
Does the height include the pot?
No, we measure from the top of the pot to the tip of the plant except for some of the instant planted screens, in this case it will be stated in the description
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are delivered in just a few days, Smaller items are often sent with Parcelforce on a next day service, Larger items should allow up to 10 days due to the size of the items they often have to be sent on our own transport.
Where will you leave my plants?
We will leave your order at the front of your property, Parcelforce may
leave your items in a safe place if you let us know, Pallet couriers
will require a flat hard surface to deliver to, no gravel or soil, a
driveway or parking spot would be best. Most importantly Deliveries by
pallet courier will require access for a large truck (bin lorry sized)
to get near the delivery point. Deliveries sent on our own transport may come in a small van or larger truck.
