Hamamelis ‘Rubin’ – Deep Red Winter Blooms with Subtle Fragrance
Hamamelis ‘Rubin’ is a striking deciduous shrub prized for its stunning late-winter flowers. Its rich ruby-red, ribbon-like petals emerge on bare branches, providing a splash of vibrant colour when most other plants lie dormant. These delicate, spidery flowers also offer a subtle, sweet fragrance that adds a sensory delight to the winter garden.
The shrub features an open, spreading habit with attractive autumn foliage, which turns warm shades of orange and yellow before leaf fall, extending its seasonal appeal. ‘Rubin’ is perfect for borders, woodland gardens, or naturalistic plantings where winter interest and early spring colour are desired.
