Fatsia japonica – A Striking Evergreen with Architectural Foliage
Fatsia japonica, also known as the Japanese aralia, is a magnificent evergreen shrub that brings instant drama to the garden. With its huge, glossy, hand-shaped leaves, it has a lush, tropical look yet is hardy and well-suited to UK gardens. Whether grown as a backdrop in borders, a specimen in shade, or even in a large container, this versatile shrub adds year-round structure and style.
