Buddleja davidii ‘Prince Charming’ – Vibrant Cerise Butterfly Bush for Summer Colour
Buddleja davidii ‘Prince Charming’ is a striking butterfly bush, producing bold spikes of vibrant cerise-pink flowers throughout summer and into early autumn. The rich colour stands out beautifully in borders, creating an eye-catching display that attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.
The slender flower panicles rise above soft grey-green foliage, bringing both height and movement to the garden. Its compact, well-branched habit makes it ideal for mixed borders, wildlife gardens, and patio containers where strong colour is desired without excessive size.
‘Prince Charming’ blends particularly well with ornamental grasses and late-summer perennials, extending the season of interest and adding valuable nectar for pollinators.
Hardy and easy to grow, this buddleja thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Pruning hard in early spring encourages vigorous new growth and ensures a long and abundant flowering season.
Bright, colourful, and wildlife-friendly, Buddleja ‘Prince Charming’ is a wonderful choice for gardeners looking to combine bold summer colour with pollinator appeal.
