Azalea ‘Pentanthera Agnes’ – Elegant Pale-Flowered Azalea for Woodland Gardens
Azalea ‘Pentanthera Agnes’ is a refined deciduous azalea known for its elegant clusters of soft creamy-white to pale yellow flowers that appear in late spring. The large trumpet-shaped blooms bring a gentle, luminous quality to the garden, standing out beautifully against fresh spring foliage.
The flowers appear in generous clusters along the branches, creating a graceful and natural display. Their soft colouring blends effortlessly into woodland-style planting schemes and works particularly well with pastel azaleas, rhododendrons, and shade-loving perennials.
With its naturally bushy and upright growth habit, ‘Pentanthera Agnes’ forms a well-shaped shrub that is ideal for mixed borders, woodland gardens, or specimen planting. It brings a calm and elegant presence to shaded areas of the garden.
Like other deciduous azaleas, it thrives in partial shade and prefers acidic, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Once established, it is hardy and dependable, requiring only minimal pruning after flowering to maintain its shape.
Graceful, subtle, and beautifully refined, Azalea ‘Pentanthera Agnes’ is an excellent choice for adding soft spring colour to woodland-style gardens.
