Weigela florida ‘Wings of Fire’ – A Foliage Masterpiece with Fiery Seasonal Colour

How to Grow and Care for Your Weigela florida ‘Wings of Fire’

-
Mulching – Mulch annually to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
-
Pest & Disease Resistance – Generally pest-free and disease-resistant, making it an easy-care choice.
-
Cold Hardy – Fully hardy in temperate climates and handles winter frosts well.
Perfect Plant Combinations
Weigela ‘Wings of Fire’ pairs beautifully with plants that contrast its leaf tones, such as silver-leaved perennials (e.g. Artemisia, Stachys) or grasses like Pennisetum and Carex. In autumn displays, it works well with Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’, Japanese anemones, or Heuchera for a layered, vibrant look.
In containers, combine with evergreens or compact conifers to create a year-round focal point with autumn flare.
