Cortaderia ‘Rosea’ – Pink-Flowering Pampas Grass

Cortaderia ‘Rosea’ is a striking ornamental grass admired for its elegant, arching green foliage and large, feathery plumes in soft blush-pink tones. Flowering from late summer into autumn, the tall plumes rise proudly above the foliage, adding movement, height, and drama to the garden. As the season progresses, the plumes mature to silvery pink, remaining attractive well into winter.

Bold, architectural, and low-maintenance, Cortaderia ‘Rosea’ is ideal for creating strong focal points, screening, or adding texture to large borders and contemporary landscapes.

Why Grow Cortaderia ‘Rosea’?

Architectural Impact – Tall, upright plumes and arching foliage create a dramatic garden feature.

Excellent for Screening – Dense growth provides privacy and wind protection.

Low Maintenance – Hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and easy to grow.

How to Grow and Care

Soil – Prefers well-drained soil; tolerates poor soils but dislikes waterlogging.

Light – Full sun for best flowering and strong growth.

Watering – Water regularly during establishment; drought-tolerant once mature.

Mulching – Mulch around the base to protect roots and improve soil condition.
Pests & Diseases – Generally trouble-free.
